Crayon Line Art

Crayon line artIntroduction:

Are the children bored? Hungry? Keep them busy with this fun creative project.

Supplies:

  • Paper
  • Crayons

Instructions:

Show how to use a black crayon to scribble shapes, swirls, symbols and objects using one continuous line –without lifting the crayon from the paper — making sure that the lines intersect and cross over one another. This creates different shapes and spaces. Be sure to connect the starting and ending locations with other lines.

Have the child scribble in the same way on his paper. Really big designs are more manageable for young children.
Then, have the child color in each shape with a different color crayon. No two colors should touch each other.
